Israel's ambassador to
Hungary on Tuesday urged the Hungarian government to investigate a mayor
near the far-right party Jobbik a city northeast of the country, which
ordered the hanging of mannequins in the likeness of Israeli leaders.
Mihaly Zoltan Orosz,
Mayor of Erpatak was filmed ordering the hanging of mannequins with
pictures of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former
President Shimon Peres, in protest against the Gaza conflict.
